With the arrival of the sweltering summer season, the continuously rising temperatures pose multiple safety risks to outdoor construction operations, making the task of ensuring safe production particularly urgent. On the eve of the 25th National "Safe Production Month," Shen Lixing, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union, and General Manager of the New Energy Company of the Group Company, led an inspection and condolence team to the electromechanical installation project site of Songming County Experimental Middle School and the construction site of the Songming Smart Cold Chain Industrial Park (Phase I) in Yanglin Town, Songming County. They conducted a special inspection of construction safety and a "Summer Cooling" activity, delivering refreshing drinks and heatstroke prevention supplies to the project team working on the front lines, truly conveying the company's care to the construction frontline.   On May 30th, the inspection and condolence team first arrived at the Songming County Experimental Middle School project site. The project is being undertaken by the Songming County Education and Sports Bureau as the construction unit, with China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. as the general contractor. Our company is responsible for the electromechanical subcontracting construction. The construction content includes the construction of new dormitory buildings, a comprehensive building, a student canteen, an auditorium, outdoor sports fields, and supporting ancillary facilities. It is currently in the final stages awaiting acceptance. Accompanied by Project Manager Li Sainan, the inspection and condolence team inspected the operation of key facilities such as the fire protection pipeline system, pump room, and power control center. They congratulated the project on its successful progress towards the final stage and its imminent acceptance, and fully affirmed the project team's hard work and dedication in the early stages.   Subsequently, the inspection and condolence team visited the Songming Smart Cold Chain Industrial Park (Phase I) project. This project is currently in the construction phase. Our contracted work includes earthwork excavation, cable laying, cable well construction, power distribution facility installation, communication pipeline pre-laying, monitoring equipment pole erection, intelligent equipment configuration, and maintenance services during the warranty period. We will also cooperate in related testing, inspection, monitoring, and engineering management.   The inspection and condolence team surveyed the work site along the construction route, listened attentively to Project Manager Luan Kexing's detailed report on the project schedule, the operation of the safety production management system, and the implementation of heatstroke prevention measures. They fully recognized the project's progress in the early stages and after its commencement, and extended sincere condolences to all construction workers who remained at their posts and worked tirelessly under the high temperatures. They encouraged everyone to carry forward the fine tradition of "hard work and dedication," to stay focused on their goals, and to fulfill their duties diligently, writing a testament to their hard work.   General Manager Shen emphasized on-site that summer is a high-risk period for safety accidents, and safety work cannot be neglected in the slightest. Safety must always be the top priority in all work. Each project must pay close attention to the working and living environment of frontline workers, strictly implement protective measures such as staggered work hours for high-temperature operations, distribution of heatstroke prevention materials, and medical examinations for high-temperature work, resolutely prevent fatigue work and risky operations, and while ensuring progress and quality, firmly adhere to the safety red line. In light of the key challenges and difficulties in summer construction safety management, the inspection and visit team put forward three clear work requirements on-site: First, strengthen risk prevention and control awareness. Adhere to the principle of "safety first," firmly grasp safety production work with a bottom-line mentality, strictly and meticulously implement all safety measures, and focus on emergency response preparations during the high-temperature season and flood season; Second, refine on-site management measures. In response to the special construction period of overlapping summer and flood seasons, projects under construction should focus on conducting special hazard investigations on high slope operations, temporary power supply, and flood control facilities, further optimize emergency plans, improve emergency response capabilities through refined management, and effectively protect the health and safety of frontline workers; Third, continuously improve the level of inherent safety. Learn profound lessons from typical safety production accident cases, identify weaknesses in project management, promptly summarize and solidify safety management experience, and continuously improve the long-term safety management mechanism to build a solid safety foundation for the company's high-quality development. During this activity, the inspection and support team delivered instant noodles, bottled water, and refreshing drinks to 12 frontline workers on two projects, as well as heatstroke prevention and cooling packages containing items such as Huoxiang Zhengqi Water (a traditional Chinese medicine for heatstroke), floral water, cooling towels, and cooling patches. They repeatedly reminded everyone to take precautions against sun and heat during construction work, to arrange work hours reasonably, to pay attention to the balance between work and rest, and to strengthen their self-protection awareness to ensure a safe summer. The frontline workers who received the supplies expressed that they truly felt the company's care and warmth, and would continue to stick to their posts, do their jobs well, strictly implement all safety operating procedures, and complete all construction tasks with high quality and quantity while ensuring their own safety, living up to the company's expectations and entrustment. Hui Shuhua, Deputy General Manager of Kunming Cable Group New Energy Company, Zhou Mingqing, Assistant General Manager, Zhu Yanhua, Deputy Director of the Group Company's Safety Committee, and relevant responsible persons from the Group Company's Trade Union participated in this safety inspection and support work. • The visit of the Southeast Asia Green Energy Technology Training Group was not just a simple tour or exchange; it was a profound integration of knowledge and practice, and an emotional resonance between Chinese technology and the Southeast Asian market.
On November 19, our company welcomed a group of special guests—trainees from the "Southeast Asia Green Energy Application Technology Training" program. Energy industry practitioners and managers from multiple Southeast Asian countries visited Kunming Cable Group, embarking on a journey of technical exploration that took them from theoretical understanding to in-depth hands-on practice. At the beginning of the event, through an overall introduction to Kunming Cable Group, the trainees gained a systematic understanding of the company's business landscape and development scale. From the strategic layout of green energy to the coordinated development of diversified industries, we presented a three-dimensional and vibrant corporate image to our friends from afar. The solid industrial foundation and clear strategic planning drew frequent praise from the trainees and set an expectant tone for the rest of the visit. If green energy is the heart of the future, then high-quality cables are the unobstructed "blood vessels." Following that, the trainees visited the production workshop of Kunming Cable Group's Kunming Electric Cable Co., Ltd. on site. From raw material refining to rigorous finished product testing, multiple automated production lines were operating efficiently, showcasing the solid strength of "Made in China." The trainees showed keen interest in the wire and cable manufacturing processes, frequently stopping to ask questions and capturing every detail of the precision craftsmanship with their cameras. The afternoon itinerary was undoubtedly the highlight of the visit. At the photovoltaic project site—self-invested and self-built by Kunming Cable Group New Energy Co., Ltd.—the training shifted from "listening to lectures" to "getting hands-on." Under the professional guidance of technical staff, the trainees personally picked up tools and conducted practical connections between solar panels. Tightening each connector, checking each circuit—the PV panels under the sunlight were not just power generation equipment, but a bridge connecting knowledge with practice. The atmosphere was lively, and every trainee was fully immersed. One trainee exclaimed excitedly, "This is the most meaningful part we have participated in throughout the entire training course! The theoretical knowledge has finally come to life. At the moment we successfully made the connections ourselves, our understanding of the PV system became completely different!" These words voiced the feelings of all the trainees and made us feel deeply gratified as well. The visit of the Southeast Asia Green Energy Technology Training Group was not just a simple tour or exchange; it was a profound integration of knowledge and practice, and an emotional resonance between Chinese technology and the Southeast Asian market.
